Caring For Your Soap

With a little bit of TLC and following the tips below, you can extend the life of your natural handmade soap.

1. Don't let your soap sit in water (unless you want to make soap slurry).



2. Your soap needs plenty of air between uses, so don't leave it sitting in a washbag while damp.

3. Always use a well drained soap dish like the one above to keep it dry.


4.  Natural handmade soaps won't stay fresh forever, so it is best to use them up within 6 months of purchasing it.


5. It is recommended to store soap waiting to be used in a dark, relatively cool location (think knickers drawers).


6.  Store similiar scents together.
